Ivarsoft (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it and the rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable US state privacy laws.
1. Who we are
Ivarsoft, based in India. For any privacy question, email info@ivarsoft.com.
2. Data we collect
Information you give us: your name, work email, company, country, project details and any other information you include when you complete our enquiry form or email us.
Technical information: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and troubleshooting. If you consent to analytics cookies, we also collect anonymised usage statistics (see section 9).
3. How we use your data
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal; to deliver services we have agreed with you; to keep our website secure; to understand, with your consent, how the website is used; and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Enquiries submitted through our website are sent by email to our team. They are not added to any marketing list. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal effects.
4. Legal basis
We rely on your consent (enquiry form, optional cookies), the performance of a contract (client work), our legitimate interests (responding to business enquiries, securing our website) and legal obligations (record keeping).
5. Who we share data with
Only trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: our website and email hosting provider (Hostinger) and, if you consent to analytics, Google (Google Analytics 4). Some providers are located outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
6. How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months. Client records: for the duration of the contract plus the period required by tax law. Server logs: according to our hosting provider's standard retention.
7. How we protect data
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to people who need it, two-factor authentication on business systems, password managers and regular access reviews.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of your data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent at any time. California residents may also request disclosure of the categories of data collected.
Email info@ivarsoft.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
9. Cookies & settings
Essential: required for security and to remember your cookie choice. These are always active.
Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how the site is used. It only runs after you consent, using Google Consent Mode v2.
Marketing (optional): used only if we run advertising campaigns, to measure their performance. It only runs after you consent.
10. Our blog
Our blog at ivarsoft.com/insights/ runs on WordPress on the same hosting as this website. Comments are switched off, so the blog does not ask you for any personal data, and the same cookie choices apply as on the rest of the site.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated to clients by email.
